Product Description Platinum Cured Silicone Tubing – 8mm Bore x 2.0mm Wall- High Clarity Slicone Tubing 60°IRHD - 5° FDA, BGA & WRC Approved Maintaining standard silicone’s excellent ozone, temperature and electrical properties, additionally Platinum cured silicone tubing has no smell, taste taint or reaction with Chlorine. It has higher tear strength with less vulnerability to splitting or mechanical damage, making it ideal for peristaltic pump use. Due to process advantages there is less likelihood of extrusion lines on both inner and outer surfaces and therefore less bacteriological build up. The Platinum cure system also creates a much higher clarity with no yellowing, as experienced with peroxide cured materials.
