560 – Special 20 The Hohner Special 20 has the coveted Marine Band sound plus the added benefits of a plastic comb: Plastic lasts longer is more airtight to give the player a more responsive instrument and it is smoother on the lips to prevent chafing. Another plus with the Special 20’s design is that the Reed Plates are recessed into the comb. This keeps the two rather sharp edges of the brass Reed Plates from digging into the corners of the player’s mouth.
