Description During BB replacement or servicing, an old frame will often require thread repair and re-facing of the BB shell to ensure the new BB seats correctly during installation. This service charge includes thread cleaning plus facing of both sides of the shell. BSA or Italian threads only. Note we do not cut new threads into an unthreaded BB shell. Consult a framebuilder for that service.
