Description When your shifting becomes sluggish, it’s probably because contamination and corrosion have built up inside your outer shift cable, causing stiction. We’ll remove your old inner cable and lubricate your cable housing. If there’s damage to the housing we’ll replace it. A new inner cable goes in (along with some lubricant in the shifter) plus we’ll trim the ends of the housing and fit new tips. Then we’ll tune the derailleur and you’ll have the new bike shift feel back again. For externally cabled frames.
